Full Description
An enclosure, a possible structure and other remains, recorded by CFA field survey in 2004 (NJ90SE0586). The structure measures circa 4m by 4m internally, 6m square externally and appears to be rounded internally within thick walls. It may be a blast shelter used in quarrying. It lies to the north of a rectangular enclosure, measuring 14m by 8m formed by low but substantial walls with an entrance in the north corner. To the northeast of the enclosure is a possible trackway defined by large boulders.
