Field clearance cairns. These piles of stone were cleared from the adjacent area to create stone free land for agriculture. Group of small clearance cairns adjacent to Tullos Cairn. They result from attempts to clear adjacent areas to create stone-free land for agriculture, probably in the 18th or 19th centuries. See also NJ90SE0050. Recorded by CFA field survey in 2004 (NJ90SE0586).
