Full Description

A group of small field clearance cairns adjacent to Tullos Cairn, recorded by CFA field survey in 2004 (NJ90SE0586). They result from attempts to clear adjacent areas to create stone-free land for agriculture, probably in the 18th or 19th centuries. A watching brief by CFA in 2013 recorded damage from tree planting (2012) to one of the cairns (feature 130).
