Full Description
Site of a house and garden depicted on the OS 1st edition map. By the time of the 2nd edition the former garden area was occupied by a number of properties. The house was for a time the residence of Elizabeth Crombie Duthie (1816- 1885) who donated Duthie Park to the City of Aberdeen. The original house has been replaced by a new building, now No.34 Maberley Street, but the former pedestrian gateway remains and has a commemorative plaque to Elizabeth Duthie.
