Full Description

Former manse, still in residential use, built in the early 19th century with Neo-Georgian alterations in 1887. Also known as Rayne Manse. It is a two-storey and basement, two-window house, harled with margins and a gable partly of old brickwork. The boundary wall is of rubble with brick coping. A watching brief was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in September 2020 during hand excavation of three test pits in the garden prior to a small extension to the house. No archaeological features or artefacts were identified.
