Full Description

War memorial, a Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) cross of sacrifice, commemorating losses in the First World War. It is a Portland stone crossw ith bronze longsword affixed to the front, blade down, the cross standing on a granite plinth. The cross was designed in 1918 by Sir Reginald Blomfield for the Imperial War Graves Commission (now the CWGC), and is present in Commonwealth war cemeteries containing 40 or more graves. It stands within Trinity Cemetery (NJ90NW1246).
