Full Description

Statue of Edward VII designed by Alfred Drury, 1914. The pedestal was designed by AGR Mackenzie in conjunction with Drury. The statue of the king stands on a huge granite plinth which has bronze seated figures depicting the triumphs of peace around its base. It was originally intended for the quadrant corner of the Art Gallery.
