Full Description

Section of a probable Victorian sewer recorded in a watching brief carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit between August 2009 and November 2010 on groundworks/resurfacing works across 10 streets associated with the Green Townscape Heritage Initiative. Much of the area uncovered in Trinity Street was disturbed by services, but towards the centre of the road , a brick built feature running north-east to southwest, thought to be the top of a Victorian sewer, was uncovered. The remains were left in place.
