Full Description
War memorial, a cross of sacrifice commemorating those killed in the First World War. It stands within the cemetery which contains a total of 62 Commonwealth war graves. On the front face is a sword of sacrifice. The cross stands on an octagonal pedestal which bears just three names with the inscription: TO THE HONOURED MEMORY OF FIFTY ONE SAILORS AND SOLDIERS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY DURING THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918 AND WHO LIE BURIED IN THIS CEMETERY OF WHOM THESE THREE HAVE NO SEPARATE HEADSTONE.
