Full Description

War memorial commemorating employees of the Aberdeen Granite Works killed during World War I. It comprises a wall mounted polished granoite tablet, set in to the wall of the former works, incised with gold lettering. The inscription reads: EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1919 / TO COMMEMORATE THE MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING EMPLOYEES OF THE ABERDEEN GRANITE WORKS WHO NOBLY GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY.
