Full Description

Former police station, built some time after 1926, and extended in 1984. The earliest part of the building, on the south, measures 1m by 4.5m with one door and three high windows in the south facade and a window in each of the side walls. An iron sign base, which presumably held the POLICE sign, survives on the street end of the west wall. The later addition is of concrete blocks with granite trim. A standing building survey was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in 2012 prior to proposed demolition.
