It is built of rock-faced grey and pink granite with polished dressings, and a grey slate roof with clay ridge tiles and cast-iron rainwater goods. The central entrance has a polychromatic semi-circular arch above and a wide stepped gable. There are tripartite window openings with stone mullions.
