Full Description

A stone-built well with remains of a wooden cover discovered in a field circa 20m from the back of a row of 19th-century cottages. It was 1.5m in diameter and remains of a wooden cover could be seen in section. The well had a stone culvert running in from the southwest. It was probably associated with the cottages first seen on the 1867-9 Ordnance Survey map of the area.
