Full Description

A stone-built well, found in the back garden in 1988 whilst digging for a pond. It was 1.4m in diameter, and was probably of 18th century date, relating to possible farm buildings pre-dating the present 19th century dwellings on Clifton Road. A pump is shown in this area on the OS 2nd edition map.
