Full Description

House dating in part from 1769, the main part built circa 1840-50, and depicted on historic OS maps. By the time of the 2nd edition maps a coach house (now Coach House Cottage) had been added to the North. Both the 1st and 2nd edition maps show a sundial to the South of the house. The old house is at the rear, and is two-storey , built of rubble and altered,. The large South front addition has a recessed centre with a Doric porch, consoled cornice to windows at ground level and bay windows at each end. The house is now the Woodside Care Home.
