Full Description
Lighthouse, dated 1865, standing at the end of the breakwater (NJ90NE0024). It is an octagonal-section iron tower with a triangular paned lantern, and plain railed gallery with perforated floor on cast-iron brackets. There is a fog bell on the south side. Above the door is a plaque: 'Sir Alexander Anderson Knt, Lord Provost, Patrick copper Esq, Master of Shore Works MDCCCLXV'.
