Full Description
Former corn mill, now in use as a store, built in the early 19th century with later additions. It is shown on historic OS maps as an L-plan building with three rectangular-plan buildings to the south. There is a mill lade shown coming from the north and continuing to the south. Current OS maps show one of the buildings to the south has been replaced or incorporated within a larger buildings, and the rest show additions and alterations. The mill building is a single-storey, attic and basement rubble building on an L-plan with a single ring, low-breast wheel. The wooden paddles have been replaced by sheet iron ones on the start and awe wheel. There is a concrete back addition.
