Full Description

Mill built in the mid 19th century. A 2-storey rubble building on an L-plan with an 8-spoke wood and iron overshot wheel driving two pairs of stone. The kiln vent is of the Aberdeenshire type with a pig wind vane. The mill is marked as a corn mill on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. The mill lade, sluice, pond and mill dam shown on the OS maps are still shown on the 2005 map.
