Full Description

Church, in use, depicted from the 2nd edition OS map onwards. The church built in 1875 in memory of George Hamilton-Gordon, 6th Earl of Aberdeen, who was lost at sea. The architect was William Smith of J. and W. Smith. Built of roughly-finished granite blocks with contrasting light grey door and window surrounds. World War 1 war memorial is set against the outer west elevation (NJ83SW0015).
