Full Description
The Methlick war memorial stands opposite the old churchyard in the village. It commemorates the dead from both World War I and II. It is a plain, rather severe rectangular monument with the upper part of coursed plain blocks topped with a small cornice and a small plaque bearing a crown above a wreath and swag on the front face. The lower part bears the names on each face and sits on top of a two-step base within a small wrought iron enclosure. It was unveiled on 25 September 1921. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
