Full Description
Remains of an area of stone clearance cairns, recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). A walkover survey carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry identified the site (S11) with the clearance cairns ranging in diameter from 3.5 m to 7.5 m and up to 0.5 m high.
