Full Description

The wooden brigantine JOHNNY SMITH, under Captain Thomson, carrying a cargo of old iron rails from Konigsberg to New York, foundered approximately 50 miles off Peterhead on the 25th June 1880. The crew were saved, with five landed at Fraserburgh and five at Peterhead.
