Full Description
Remains of a railway station opened in 1856 by the Inverurie and Old Meldrum Junction Railway. Formerly a single platform terminus, with goods yard to the south, and locomotive shed to the west. The station closed to passengers in 1931. Goods offices and brick goods shed still survive. The wooden single storey platform building has been relocated to Milton of Crathes (Royal Deeside heritage railway).
