Full Description
Remains of a chapel dedicated to St Mary at Kingoodie, supposedly erected before the reformation. The turf-covered footings of a chapel are still evident, oriented east-west, the chapel measuring at least 9.4m by 5.4m. The base course of wall is visible in the west, but the south wall and the corners are mutilated by ploughing. The walls may have had field clearance added, thus over-emphasizing their appearance. There is a wall spread circa 1.5m. The interior is planted with trees and there is no trace of a burial ground.
