Full Description

Boundary stone, which is depicted on the OS 1st edition map, and also annotated as 'BS' on the modern OS 1:10,000 scale map (1992). It is situated on the boundary between the parishes of Kinellar and Kintore.. Triangular on plan, it is a granite block, measuring 0.28m along each face and 0.6m in height. On the west-northwest face there are the incised letters EK, on the northeast face the letters KK, and on the southeast face the letter C, the last presumably standing for Cairntradlin. The alignment of the three boundaries is replicated by a T-shaped groove incised into the flat top.
