Full Description
Manor house, the main block dating to the mid 18th century or slightly earlier. The northeast and northwest wings are perhaps of similar date as the skewputts are identical. Anciently, Glasgoego, it was originally a U-plan house of three blocks, the wings attached by their angles. Main block two storey, harled with margins, four window with slightly advanced centre gable, coped chimneys. The re-entrant southwest angle infilled by a staircase wing perhaps dates to 1780. It was altered mid-19th century and restored 1993. Named Kinellar Lodge on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. There are extensive offices to the east, including a laundry. Built possibly mid-18th century or earlier; additions c.1780 and again mid-19th century; restored 1993; offices with laundry, garden wall and gazebo 19th century.
