Full Description

Irregular-shaped boulder 4ft 6ins long and 2ft 8 ins high, set in concrete and surrounded by a circular stone wall with an iron gate. It is inscribed 'Drum Stone/ 1411'. It is traditionally where the Laird of Drum halted his men on the way to the Battle of Harlaw, where he was killed.
