Full Description
Burial cairn situated on the north western flank of The Slacks woodland. The cairn measures 23 metres in diameter by 2 metres in height and is not covered in any vegetation or soil. The body of the mound is a mass of small boulders and stones and a hollow in the top indicates that the cairn has been dug into. There is no evidence of a chamber. The burial cairn lies on the northern edge of an extensive cairnfield (see NJ81SW0261).
