Full Description

An area of remains, which appear to conform to the layout of a farmstead predating the OS 1st Edition map, were revealed after clear-felling, recorded by a Forestry Commission field visit in 2013. Four sides of an enclosure can be identified, with debris in the southwest and northeast corners possibly indicating the sites of former structures. The west and north dykes were incorporated in a later dyke and drainage system shown on the OS 1st Edition map.
