Full Description

Bridge, still in use, built in circa 1800 and widened in circa 1880. It is a single-span, segmentally arched bridge with its parapet flanked by projecting pilasters and wing walls (extended to the west side). The bridge is constructed from coursed squared granite rubble, with bullfaced squared rubble to the arch ring and base of pilasters. The square coped, slightly sloped parapet has a corbelled stringcourse to its base course. The pilasters also have stringcourse that is level with that of parapet. A blind quatrefoil is flanked by blind arrowloops. There is saddleback coping to extensive lengths of wing walls to the west.
