Full Description

Remains of a now disused railway station. It was opened in 1854 on the Great North of Scotland Railway. A two-platform station, the main station building was on the north side of the line. To the east was a signal box, and a sidings good yard, shown on the 2nd edition OS map with a crane and weighing machine. The station closed to passengers in 1964. Tine is still in use, and the platforms remain, though out of use.
