Full Description

Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as an L-plan range with a rectangular-plan range with attached horsemill to the south-east. There are four further associated smaller rectangular-plan buildings. On the 2nd edition OS map the L-plan range has been extended, the three buildings to the south have been replaced with a larger T-plan building and a rectangular-plan building added to the east. Current OS maps shows further alterations to the steading, including the removal of the horsemill, and also to the T-plan building. The buildings to the east and west have been replaced or incorporated into larger buildings.
