Full Description

Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a U-shaped steading with the court open to the north-east and an outshot on the end of the southern wing. An attached enclosure is shown on the south and there is a small building to the north of the steading. By the 2nd edition OS map three small outbuildings are shown to the east/south of the steading. The 2005 map shows that the steading has been partially demolished and is now consisting of two buildings, the southern L-shaped building corresponds to the southern range and the northern building to the former northern range. Two of the smaller buildings are shown as disused. The third, possibly the former farmhouse, has been removed. A photographic survey was carried out in 2014.
