Full Description

Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a U-shaped steading with the court open to the south. There is a horse-mill attached to the north range and a rectangular range attached to the eastern wing, on the interior, at the southern end. By the 2nd edition OS map these buildings have been virtually cleared away, only a small portion surviving from the east of the complex. There are now a C-shaped steading to the east of the former steading, this is open to the south, with an outshot to the north, and two other smaller buildings to the south of the former steading, one of which is the farmhouse. The 2005 map shows that these buildings are still in use, the steading having either undergone modification into a rectangular structure, or having been replaced by a newer building on the same site.
