Full Description
Remains of an enclosure. The wood has been partially cleared and the area is strewn with boulders. One or two banks can be seen in it. A bank on the southwest side is probably on old plantation bank. The southern segment of an enclosure exists as a bank of stone and turf, 1-1.5m wide and 0.2m high with a possible entrance, 1.5m wide, scooped into the ground slope. Three small boulders stand in an arc, one each on the north, west and south sides. At NJ 8629 1581 is the outline of a scatter of stones circa 3m in diameter and is probably a field clearance heap.
