Full Description
Remains of building and stack stands. This subrectangular structure measures 5 x 4.1m; the walls are 0.7m thick and 0.5m high. It has a blocked entrance and first appears on the 1901 Ordnance Survey map. To the south-east of this building are three stack stands, each comprising a boulder base 0.2m high. These stone structures probably form the base of a haystack to keep the crop off the ground, dry and well-ventilated.
