Full Description
Bridge which carried a local road over an unnamed watercourse shown on historic OS maps. Building recording was carried out in 2015 as part of the programme of archaeological works for the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. It is a single span bridge comprising a closed-spandrel segmented arch, built of large angular rubble of grey granite bonded with cement mortar. It measures 5.3m in length and stands 3m high. It is likely to have been constructed in the late 18th century and significantly modified in the early 20th century.
