Full Description

Former corn mill and inn, since converted to a shop and farm sheds, built in the 18th century. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a group of four buildings with a mill lade to the north and west, and is depicted as a corn mill and mill inn. The 2nd edition OS map shows some alterations and two buildings added to the east. Current OS maps show further additions and alterations. The former mill building is a two-storey, L-plan, rubble and slate building with the wheel removed. Damaged by extensive fire 22/02/2021. All buildings demolished in 2021 except for the L-plan at the west end of the site.
