Full Description
Water reservoir built circa 1900 to supply water to Blairs College. Originally water had been supplied to the college from springs, but as the colleg grew this became a problem. In the reorganisation around 1900 when New College was constructed a second supply was built, with Dee water being pumped up from a pump house (NJ80SE0122) to this reservoir near Braeside. The spring water continued to be used for drinking.
