Full Description

Croft, still in use, depicted on historic maps from the early 19th century. Blair Estate maps of 1830 and 1842 show two rectangular buildings at right angles. By the time of the 1st edition OS a small extension has been added to the north side of the east building, and by the time of the 2nd edition another small rectangular building has been built to the northwest. This later structure has since been removed. The remaining buildings were recorded in 2012 by MAS as part of an historic landscape survey of the Blairs estate prior to redevelpoment of the estate. The two original buildings, built of stone walls with slate roofs, have been joined and extensions added. Modern windows have been inserted.
