Full Description

Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map of 1869 it is shown as consisiting of a C-shaped steading, with the court open to the south and a pond with sluice attached to the east wing, further to the west are two L-shaped buildings and a smaller rectangular building. By the 2nd edition OS map of 1901 the northern of the L-shaped buildings and the smaller rectangular building have been removed and the pond is marked as having a mill dam. There are three additional buildings to the west of the steading. The 2006 map shows that one of the smaller buildings has been removed. The remaining buildings have been merged with the now roofed steading into a larger structure. The pond has been drained, but its site has not been redeveloped.
