Full Description

Farmstead still in use. On the 1869 1st edition OS map it is shown as a C-shaped steading with a small rectangular enclosure immediately to the south. Two cottages with attached garden enclosures are shown further south by the public road. By the 2nd edition OS map of 1901 the western of the two cottages has been removed, the other is shown as unroofed and disused, the steading has been extended on both wings and has an extension from the north range. There are three additional buildings, one to the north-east corner and one to the south-west and a larger, possibly the farmhouse, to the south-east. The 2006 map shows that the smaller buildings to the north-east and south-west are disused and that the remains of the cottage have been removed.
