Full Description

Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is called 'Burnside of Wester Cairnie' and shown as an L-shaped building with possible horsemill on the west front and a rectangular enclosure to the south. By the 2nd edition map of 1901 a second building is shown to the east and the L-shaped building has been modified into a shallow C-shaped building. The horsemill has since been removed.
