Full Description
War memorial, unveiled on 1 May 1920, standing in the churchyard of Kingswells Parish church (NJ80NE0267). Constructed of Kemnay granite, it comprises a stepped square based with a base inscribed with the names of the fallen on the North, East and West sides, surmounted by a plain column at the head of which is a sculpted laurel wreath. On the north side is the inscription 'Erected to the memory of the heroes of this district who fell in the Great War 1914-1919, with a list of names of those lost. Names of those lost in World War II are listed on the west and east faces .
