Full Description

Late 18th century polygonal toll-house (rectangular-plan with northeast and southeast angles chamfered), renovated circa 1985 with additional wing-row and alterations. Formerly called Beekie Cottage. It is sited on falling ground. Harled with painted ashlar dressings. Entrance at centre to the east, four round-arched windows, on the northeast, southeast, north and south elevations. Harled modern addition at rear. Regrettable modern glazing. Piended, polygonal steeply-pitched roof with skylights. Central, shouldered and corniced, polygonal ashlar stack.
