Full Description

Former houses, now in use as a hotel, built in the mid to later 18th century. The 1st edition OS map shows the buildings as divided in two and is not depicted as a hotel. On the 2nd edition OS map it is shown as a single building and depicted as a hotel. The hotel is a two-storey and dormerless attic harled building with contrasting painted margins. The frontage has five irregular bays, formerly divided as one two-bay and one three-bay dwelling. The ground floor has an alternate window-door-window frontage and the irregular first-floor fenestration has only three windows. The east gable has a single first-floor window and a modern single-storey lean-to addition. Mainly two-pane glazing is used. The slate roof has coped end and ridge stacks and loft lights.

Listed 22/02/1972. Built in the mid to later 18th century and converted to a hotel in the later 19th century.
