Full Description

Remains of a cairn, comprising a low grass-covered mound of earth and stones. The mound has a small round depression on top 3m diameter by 0.3m deep. A cist containing ashes was found in the 19th century. The present condition of this feature suggests a round rather than a long cairn. The adjacent stone, from which the cairn derived its name, was removed in 1867.
