Full Description
Remains of the old mill of Craigston Castle estate, standing to the north-east of the castle. On the 1st edition OS map one L-shaped and one T-shaped building are depicted. Another single building is shown lying to the west of a trackway but this is no longer depicted on the present map and is not visible on the ground. The house has been damaged by fire and is now unroofed. Only the L-shaped building is now partially roofed but in a dilapidated condition. Ivy is growing over much of the ruins and there are two trees growing within the area. The mill is a single storey and attic rubble built building with a tall louvred kiln vent.
