Full Description

Remains of a mill dating from the 19th century and of unusual design. It is L-plan and rubble-built. The lade is brought high up round the angle of building in a cantilevered slab trough to an over-shot wheel in the angle. The bucket edge of the wheel had been sunk into the wall. The ashlar wall is setback and shaped to wheel. The mill is now gutted.
