Full Description
Well, depicted on the OS 1st edition map west of St Mary's Chapel (NJ74SW0004). The 1st edition also shows a second well a little to the west at NJ 72736 42604. Chapel Well is a covered oval dry-stone chamber entered from the nort down a step. At the rear is a square recess with dimensions of circa 0.20m.
